Dates and Deadlines

There are a number of important dates and deadlines for applying for residence. These dates and deadlines are listed below. If you wish to be considered for a space in residence, it is very important that you adhere to these deadlines.

The processes for applying for residence are as follows:

Application Dates and Deadlines

• May 1, 2013 - Residence application process opens. In order to apply for residence, you must apply on the eRez website and pay the $400 initial payment.­_­
• June 7, 2013 - APPLICATION DEADLINE: last day to submit your residence application and initial payment of $400 in order to be considered in first round of Offers of Accommodation.

Offer/Waitlist Dates and Deadlines

• June 21, 2013 - First round of Offers of Accommodation & Waiting List Offers emailed.
• July 17, 2013 - Second round of Offers of Accommodation & Waiting List Updates emailed.
• July 31, 2013 - Third round of Offers of Accommodation & Waiting List Updates emailed.
• August 14, 2013 - Fourth round of Offers of Accommodation & Waiting List Updates emailed.
• August 28, 2013 - Weekly school year Offers of Accommodation begin. For more information on the Waitlist, click here.

Check-in/Check-out Dates and Deadlines

• August 25, 2013 - Move-in Day
• December 14, 2013 - All residence buildings close for the Mid-year break at 12 noon
• January 5, 2014 - All residence buildings open after the Mid-year break at 12 noon
• April 28, 2014 - 8 month residence term ends at 12 noon
  
• August 1, 2014 - 11 month residence term ends at 12 noon

Fees Dates and Deadlines*

• June 7, 2013- Initial payment of $400 is required for application to be processed.
• June 7, 2013- Last day to withdraw residence application and be eligible to receive $350 back.
• June 14, 2013 - Last day to withdraw residence application and be eligible to receive $200 back.
• July 10, 2013 - First installment of residence fees due for first round Offer of Accommodation.
• August 9, 2013 - Last day to withdraw residence application and not become financially responsible for the space in residence.
• November 8, 2013 - Second installment of residence fees due.
