Spirit Leader Application!

Spirit Leaders are expected to be excited and energetic incoming first year students who will contribute their positive excitement and school spirit to the success of activities and programs run during Orientation Week (August 25th to September 2nd, 2013). Spirit leaders will be responsible for various activities in orientation week, including but not limited to - assisting in rounding up students before events, helping create cheers, and assisting the residence advisor in creating a community on the floor. They are expected to engage with their fellow students, attend events, and be energetic throughout the week. They are required to attend a MANDATORY ORIENTATION session at 2:00 pm on August 25th.

While the Spirit Leaders duties will only be for the week of orientation, they are encouraged to investigate other leadership opportunities through residence - for example, the student leadership program that meets weekly in residence, or our campus wide leadership conference, held in January.
