Alicia graduated from Ryerson and York Universities with a Masters of Arts degree in the joint Communication and Culture program, where she specialized in Technology in Practice: Applied Perspectives and Media and Culture. Actively involved as a teaching assistant and elected student representative, Alicia has a wide breadth of knowledge on student issues, and understands the unique needs of students who visit ISS.
Having grown up in a rural farming community in south western Ontario, Alicia moved to London, Ontario where she studied at the University of Western Ontario where she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Afterwards, Alicia lived and worked in Dublin, Ireland where she experienced the same cultural adaptations that international students face while studying in Canada.
