We are committed to attracting and retaining educators of the highest calibre. The distinction of holding a named chair or professorship is one of the most significant tools Ryerson can use to honour existing faculty members and recruit new ones.

Endowed positions promote faculty excellence in research and teaching, and provide permanent funding in support of these scholarly efforts.

Research

Research at Ryerson is on a trajectory of success and growth. In the past four years, externally funded research has doubled.
