How to Give

PLANNED GIFTS

A planned gift is a charitable donation that can be arranged during your lifetime, but is not available to Ryerson until sometime in the future. Planned gifts often enable donors to make significant gifts while also fulfilling important tax and financial goals. The most common type of planned gift is a bequest, but there others including: charitable remainder trusts, gifts of residual interest, life insurance, and gifts of RRIFs and RRSPs.

All donors who make a planned gift to Ryerson are recognized through the Egerton Ryerson Society.
