About Business Management

The Ted Rogers School of Business Management (TRSBM) opened in 1948 as one of the original schools that formed the Ryerson Institute of Technology. It is now the largest of the four schools that comprise the The Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, and the largest single school in the university.

Staffed by a faculty with many years of business management and teaching experience, and sound academic qualifications, the Ted Rogers School of Business Management has become the largest undergraduate business school in Ontario. It supplies industry and government with intelligent, dedicated graduates who are practically oriented, immediately useful, and capable of further personal development whether through advanced formal education or by promotion to senior job responsibilities.

The program provides students with a specialization in their chosen vocation, a practical and comprehensive knowledge of all basic functions of business, an awareness of social, political, and economic issues facing contemporary society, a questioning attitude to encourage and assist change, an ability to employ analytical skills for decision-making, and a desire to continue to learn and develop.

The TRSBM Office of Student Achievement is your first point of contact for all questions you have related to your curriculum, academic policies and procedures, course enrollment and intentions, academic standings, etc.  In addition to student advising, we are the team responsibile for:

Ted Rogers School of Management Building meets Bay Street

The Ted Rogers School of Management building has expanded Ryerson's footprint in the downtown core in an exciting way!  It has given The Ted Rogers School of Business Management a significant profile on the street that defines Canadian business.

All four schools within The Ted Rogers School of Management are accommodated on three large floors with a centre courtyard. The building is also directly accessible from the Dundas subway station.
