Criteria as of May 26, 2008
- Each Faculty will establish an annual Dean's List for students enrolled in undergraduate programs in that Faculty.
- To be eligible for consideration for the Dean's List, students in full-time programs must be carrying an average unit load of over 4.0 units for the Fall and Winter terms.
- Students registered in part-time programs must normally complete the equivalent of a full year of study in order to be eligible for consideration. These students can then be considered again after completing each "set" of equivalent full years of study. Programs can use their discretion in timing the consideration of part-time program students for inclusion on the Dean's List (ie. After 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 courses) provided that the student is not considered and included on the Dean's List more than the equivalent number of times a full-time program student may be eligible (normally four for students admitted to year one of a four-year program).
- The criteria for part-time program students will be used for students registered with the Access Centre who are enrolled for full-time programs.
- Part-time program students and full time program students registered with the Access Centre may be placed on the Dean's list at the end of any term as appropriate based on their studies (see #3 above).
- The student must achieve a minimum of 3.5 GPA for the academic year (Fall and Winter terms).
- Students must have all passing grades and a CLEAR Academic Standing. They cannot have received any Disciplinary Notices (DN) while at Ryerson.
- All criteria for Dean's List must be published on the Faculty's website.
- Dean's lists will be published annually on the Faculty websites.
