Dave Valliere is a frequent media commentator on entrepreneurship and small business, and brings a wealth of information to the classroom. As an associate professor, Valliere has developed and taught undergraduate and graduate courses at the Ted Rogers School of Management and Ryerson University since 2004, concentrating his efforts on entrepreneurship and business strategy. With a focus on research, Valliere has been awarded many honours, including the Dean’s Scholarly Research and Creative Award and the Dean’s Teaching Award, from Ryerson. Valliere has also had a long and varied career in industry, working as a professional engineer and in IT management for a range of large and small companies for over 20 years. With his breadth of knowledge, Valliere is able to educate and inspire students, using his experience as a model of success.

Valliere is a global thinker and is currently focusing his research efforts on the cognitive psychology of entrepreneurs and the effects of the national culture on entrepreneurial intentions. To find out more about Dave Valliere, read his full bio.
