Please plan to arrive at the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) a half-hour in advance of your scheduled start time.

There will be express lanes for university faculty and staff at the MTCC entrances to expedite your entry to the Exhibit Hall. You must be wearing your security bracelet to access the express lanes. If you do not wear your security bracelet, you will be required to pass through the enhanced security procedures (bag inspection and scanner) along with all guests visiting the Fair. These are the four secure entrances to the South Building of the MTCC:

  1. Entrance from South Parking Lot at Level 600. We encourage you to use this entrance, as it is typically not congested.
  2. Main doors off of Bremner Blvd
  3. Junction of North/South Buildings (end of bridge when traveling from North Building off Front)
  4. Skywalk Entrance
  • Name tags will be available for pick up upon your arrival at the Fair from the Volunteer Check-In behind the Ryerson booth.
  • To check out at the end of your shift, return your nametag to the Check-In area behind the Ryerson Booth (even if you are returning the next day!)

Please keep in mind that we are not able to accommodate program or unit-specific materials. To maintain consistency, the 2018 Admissions Handbook (covers all programs, admission requirements, how to apply, student services and facilities, and on campus recruitment events) is the only publication to be handed out at the Ryerson booth. If you have questions about this policy, please contact Susan Vercruysse (Ext. 4264) or Marisa Modeski (Ext. 5030).
