Recruitment Opportunities

Employers receive customized recruiting opportunities and strategies to connect and hire the best possible candidates, whether a current student, recent graduate or alumni of the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. We can work with you to source students or grads at all levels of experience for full-time, part-time and summer positions. Based on their area of expertise, our Career Consultants have been matched with each program specialization. They offer a keen understanding of each market. We also offer support for internship placements. For co-op opportunities, we can connect you to Ryerson's co-op office.

Innovative Assessment and Recruitment Technologies

In addition to the numerous options to connect with students on-campus, technology is a primary source used by students for career information and to link to future employers. We use the most innovative career development practices and technology to offer our students, alumni and recruiters an advantage. A first in Canada and developed in partnership with Ryerson University, the Magnet job matching platform is online software that revolutionizes how people find job opportunities, and how organizations find talent. Post a job with Magnet’s WhoPlusYou and learn more.

On-Campus Interviewing

We also have the resources available for your organization to hold on-campus interviews. We offer services that include room bookings, scheduling and follow up with students, we would be more than happy to arrange for you and your team to take advantage of our facilities.

Information Sessions

Come on campus to give students a view of your organization and what type of talent you are looking for. Bring your TRSM alumni with you to share in the experience and let students get an intimate view of what corporate life is really like.

Career Showcases

We like to offer customized Industry showcases rather than larger career fairs as we feel that this gives Employers a better opportunity to connect with students in their specific area of specialization.

Twitter Chats

We like to provide a variety of different opportunities for our students to connect with employers. With busy work and school schedules, we understand that it can be hard for both students and employers to make it on campus. That’s why we offer live Twitter chats with our industry partners. Students and recruiters can interact from the convenience of their laptop or smart phone. This is a great way to engage with students and boost awareness about what your organization has to offer.

Hallway Booths

A great way to gain valuable exposure on campus is to book a hallway booth in a high traffic area. This option allows you to brand on campus while connecting with students in an informal but effective way. We typically request two months’ notice as availability isn’t always guaranteed during peak times.

Classroom Visits

We have Industry Partners in the classroom all the time offering up real-world experiences to our students. Industry experts join us and share their knowledge about a particular subject matter and/or volunteer as mock interviewers or industry panelists in some of our first-year career management workshops. Classroom visits are arranged with our faculty members and typically we provide between two to three months’ notice for these requests.

Sponsorship & Branding Opportunities

There are many different ways for your organization to sponsor student activities on campus showcasing your corporate brand. We have opportunities for industry partners to work with the Business Career Hub as key Strategic Partners. There are also more than 29 student clubs who are looking for industry support for the academic, professional and extra-curricular activities that they participate in.
