We like to offer customized Industry showcases rather than larger career fairs as we feel that this gives Employers a better opportunity to connect with students in their specific area of specialization.
We like to provide a variety of different opportunities for our students to connect with employers. With busy work and school schedules, we understand that it can be hard for both students and employers to make it on campus. That’s why we offer live Twitter chats with our industry partners. Students and recruiters can interact from the convenience of their laptop or smart phone. This is a great way to engage with students and boost awareness about what your organization has to offer.
A great way to gain valuable exposure on campus is to book a hallway booth in a high traffic area. This option allows you to brand on campus while connecting with students in an informal but effective way. We typically request two months’ notice as availability isn’t always guaranteed during peak times.
We have Industry Partners in the classroom all the time offering up real-world experiences to our students. Industry experts join us and share their knowledge about a particular subject matter and/or volunteer as mock interviewers or industry panelists in some of our first-year career management workshops. Classroom visits are arranged with our faculty members and typically we provide between two to three months’ notice for these requests.
There are many different ways for your organization to sponsor student activities on campus showcasing your corporate brand. We have opportunities for industry partners to work with the Business Career Hub as key Strategic Partners. There are also more than 29 student clubs who are looking for industry support for the academic, professional and extra-curricular activities that they participate in.
