Academic Requirements

Full-Time, Four Year

  • English/Anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
  • Mathematics [One of: Advanced Functions (MHF4U), Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) or Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U)]
  • The minimum grade(s) required in the subject prerequisites (normally in the 70% range) will be determined subject to competition

Students interested in pursuing an Entrepreneurship Major should know that the majority of courses required for the Major will not be available in the evening (at this time). Students wanting to pursue this Major will have to take the majority of the required courses during the day.

Part-Time, First-Year Entry

  • Mathematics [one of: Advanced Functions (MHF4U), Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) or Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U)]
    OR
  • The ability to meet Ryerson Mature Student Guidelines
    AND
  • Completion of at least one certificate program from the Business Management area of the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Ryerson OR seven individual Business Management courses taken through the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education or equivalent qualifications from other post-secondary institutions.
  • The cumulative grade point average required for admission each year is determined on the basis of competition. Candidates are encouraged to present cumulative grade point averages of 2.67 (B-) or higher to maximize their chances for admission consideration on a competitive basis.
  • The minimum grade(s) required in the subject prerequisites (normally in the 70% range) will be determined subject to competition.

Students interested in pursuing an Entrepreneurship Major should know that the majority of courses required for the Major will not be available in the evening (at this time). Students wanting to pursue this Major will have to take the majority of the required courses during the day.

Please note: Part-time Business Management degree students may take up to a total of three (3) courses per semester.

Full- and Part-Time, Direct Entry

  • Three-year CAAT diploma in Business Administration.
  • The cumulative grade point average required for admission each year is determined on the basis of competition. Candidates are encouraged to present a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher to maximize their chances for admission consideration.
  • Applicants will be considered for admission to third year, and will also be required to complete up to six courses from year two or provide evidence that equivalent courses have been taken.

Students interested in pursuing an Entrepreneurship or Finance Major should know that the majority of courses required for the Major will not be available in the evening (at this time). Students wanting to pursue this Major will have to take the majority of the required courses during the day.

Please note: Part-time Business Management degree students may take up to a total of three (3) courses per semester.
