Academic Requirements

  • English/Anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
  • One of: Biology (SBI4U) or Chemistry (SCH4U)
  • One Grade 12 U/M course in Canadian World Studies or Social Sciences and the Humanities. Minimum 70% required in each subject and minimum 70% overall average.

Note: Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed at least one year of university studies with a 3.0/B/70% cumulative GPA, or other related life experience. Refer to the Undergraduate Calendar for additional information.

Non-Academic Requirements (Grades-Plus)

  • All applicants are required to complete and submit the Ryerson Midwifery Supplementary Application form, cover sheet and 3 copies of a personal letter as outlined on the Midwifery Program web site, by February 1.
  • You must ensure that your name (first and last, as stated on your application), Ryerson Number and the name of the applicable program are clearly printed on each item submitted.
  • Interviews are conducted in April/May for applicants who are successful in stages one and two of the admissions process. Applicants may be required to complete a brief autobiographical sketch prior to being interviewed.
