Ryerson is pleased to recognize the academic achievements of the first-year class upon admission to the university with over $4 million designated for entrance scholarship support.

Students attending a Canadian secondary school with final averages of 80% and higher, who meet the terms and conditions for scholarship, are guaranteed a renewable entrance scholarship according to the following values.

To be eligible for consideration, students must:

  • Be currently enrolled full-time in a Canadian
    secondary school (minimum of three Ontario
    grade 12 U/M courses or Canadian provincial
    equivalent within the 2015-2016
    regular school year;
  • Have been continuously enrolled full-time (no gaps
    in full-time attendance prior to the 2015-2016
    regular school year);
  • Be enrolling in a postsecondary institution for
    the first time; and
  • Have submitted the correct and complete
    application for admission to the program for
    which the scholarship is being granted by
    May 1, 2016.

To be first presented in 2016-17.
To be eligible for this award, a student must be registered as a full-time undergraduate student at Ryerson University, must have clear academic standing, must be entering the four year Collaborative Degree Program in the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing at the Ryerson campus, must demonstrate financial need through the completion of a Budget Form, and must exemplify dedication to hands-on, bedside nursing, compassion and a connection with patients.

Catherine Lund Entrance Award

To be eligible for this award, a student must be registered as an undergraduate student in the School of Disability Studies at Ryerson, must be entering with a clear academic standing, and must demonstrate commitment to the community or to disability studies in a reflective statement (already submitted for application into the School of Disability Studies) showing how their personal goals mesh with the mission of the School of Disability Studies.

Open to students in the final year of high school; who have accepted an offer of full-time admission to a Ryerson Engineering program; have demonstrated a rich involvement in a FIRST robotics high school team; and have achieved a minimum admission average of 85%.
