Professors Kular and Sharma head to GRAPH EXPO
Sept 11–14 • McCormick Place, Chicago

GraphExpoProfs Chris Kular and Abhay Sharma will attend GRAPH EXPO in Chicago, Sept 11–14, 2011. Chris Kular will attend and participate in the GASC / Printing Industries of America Teacher’s Conference that provides an update for graphic arts educators. The Teacher’s Conference is held in conjunction with Graph Expo and provides educators with the opportunity to learn about current industry trends and the latest equipment and products. Through the program, Prof Kular is able to provide GCM students with information relating to the latest technology and trends in print media. In a separate program, Abhay Sharma will be a presenter in the GRAPH EXPO seminar series, where he will talk about “Digital Presses – A Pre-Purchase Primer”. In this seminar, Abhay will provide a basic overview of digital presses for the offset printer and explore digital press characteristics and operations including production and technical issues of the print engine and controller. A key area is colour management and the ability of digital presses to match offset printing. Attend Abhay’s seminar and receive a special $50 discount code for seminar registration.
