A Quick Overview

The School of Health Services Management was founded in 1994 and is one of the ten professional Schools within the Faculty of Community Services.

The School specializes in part-time degree completion programs. In 2003 the School introduced a Bachelor of Health Administration in Health Information Management. To fulfill the requirements, students take 24 one-semester courses, the equivalent of two years of full-time study.

The central location for the program is at Ryerson and all core courses are offered here. However, some liberal studies and professionally related elective courses are offered through Open College Distance Education.

The core courses are offered in a variety of formats which include evening, web-based and modular. A modular format consists of all day Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m..

We wish you well in your studies and if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at (416) 979-5000 ext. 6643 or the Program Assistant, Carrie Wiebe at (416) 979-5000 ext. 6409.
