Dr.
Prior
joining Ted Rogers School Management and the School of Graduate Studies,
Professor Michon taught graduate (PhD, MSc and MBA) and undergraduate
students at the University of Quebec in Montreal and HEC-Montreal. Dr. Michon
currently teaches business intelligence/ decision models, and competitive
industry analysis to undergraduate and MBA students. Dr Michon's research and
publication domains focus on consumer behavior modeling (personal and
cross-cultural values, charitable donations, fundraising, fashion, retail and
environmental psychology). He
specializes in psychometrics, structural equation modeling, hierarchical
linear models, stochastic modeling and data mining. |

Dr. Michon is a member of the American Psychological
Association, the Academy of Marketing Science, the American Marketing
Association, the Direct Marketing Association (Direct Marketing Education
Foundation), the International Council of Shopping Centres. He is a member of
the editorial review board of the Journal of Business Research (Elsevier),
European Retail Research, and the Journal of Business Environment. He is also a reviewer for another dozen of
academic journals and societies: American Collegiate Retailing Association,
Academy of Marketing Science, Administrative Sciences Association of Canada,
Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences,
European Journal of Marketing, International Journal of Hospitality
Management, International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice,
