BIOGRAPHY

 

Dr. Sui Sui is an Assistant Professor in Global Management Studies at the Ted Rogers School of Management. Her research focuses on understanding the behavior of international entrepreneurs from developed countries.  Some of this has studied how different internationalization strategies influences firm survival and growth.  Some has focused on firm capabilities and resources that contribute to success in emerging markets, such as the BRICs.  This line of research has studied the learning and innovation capabilities that entrepreneurial firms gain during internationalization. Dr. Sui's work has been published in top-tier journals in the field such as the Journal of International Business Studies.  Additionally, her work has been covered by popular media such as the Wall Street Journal and the Globe and Mail.  Dr. Sui was a finalist for Haynes Prize for the Most Promising Scholar at the 2013 Academy of International Business Conference. She teaches Global Management, Managerial Economics, and International Trade.
