Early 1946 in Regency Park, a housing development in the Kew Gardens section of the borough of Queens, New York City.   Cases were first seen by physicians in the neighbourhood at the beginning of the year.
About a week after the appearance of the initial lesion, there was an acute onset of fever, chills, sweating, backache and headache, followed in 2 to 4 days by a generalized maculopapular and papulo-vesicular rash. The acute symptoms and rash lasted  about 1 week to 10 days.  No complications and no deaths.

VEHICLE? CONTACT?  VECTOR?

LET'S LOOK AT THE INCUBATION PERIOD

Now we look at the people and their characteristics ...

What does this suggest?
