COVID-19 and Online Learning Update: 

Due to Ryerson's response to COVID-19, all AAS programs and services are currently being offered remotely. Refer to relevant sections of this website for specific updates to our processes.

Learning Strategy & Assistive Technology Support (LS/AT)

LS/AT sessions are for students registered with AAS, who would like support with learning strategies and/or assistive technology. 

Students can book to meet 1:1 with a Learning & Assistive Technology Specialist via Google Meet.

Sessions provide students with the opportunity to learn about the best tools and approaches to support individual academic and learning experiences.

Discussion topics may include any combination of the following:

Learning Strategy Topics

  • Time management and organization
  • Focus and motivation
  • Reading, writing and note-taking
  • Studying and test-taking



Assistive Technology Topics

  • Strategies for using assistive technology efficiently and effectively
  • Software support for reading, writing, note-taking, assignments, tests/exams, and more.
