Brian Robson
Dr. Brian Robson, PhD, MBA

Director, Business Development & Training Programs

Brian has been leading the ADaPT (Advanced Digital and Professional Training) Program at Ryerson for over four years, along with other empowerment projects such as Summer Company. He earned a PhD in Systematic Theology from the University of Toronto, and an MBA (Globalization) from Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. His passion is shaping emerging leaders and teams to thrive in a changing economy. He has presented papers at international and national conferences. 

Sangeeta Mehta
Sangeeta Mehta, BA

Manager, Partnership Development & Career Counsellor

Sangeeta Mehta has completed her BA in Economics from Brock University and two post graduate diplomas in Human Resources Management and Career Development Practitioner. She is currently the Partnership Development Specialist and Career Counsellor for the ADaPT program. Prior to joining ADaPT, Sangeeta spent 15 years in Human Resources working for entrepreneurial to large organizations in the areas of recruitment, employee development, and HR strategy.

Sangeeta's mission is to provide career coaching to post secondary graduates to empower them with the requisite skills to succeed in today's labour market. She is passionate about coaching her students, preparing them to be job ready and helping them transition to meaningful employment.

Joanna Diorio, MBA, BBA
Joanna Diorio, MBA, BBA

Program Manager, Training & Entrepreneurship

With international experience in project management, strategy development and marketing, Joanna is passionate about helping students and recent graduates bridge the employment gap. She holds an MBA from Saint Mary's University and a BBA (Leadership Studies) from St. Francis Xavier University.

Jazz Dev
Jazz Dev, BA

Internship Coordinator

Jazz is the Internship Coordinator for the ADaPT program at Diversity Institute. She is a Ryerson University graduate with an Honors BA degree in Arts & Contemporary Studies and achieved a double minor in HR Management and Sociology. To expand and diversify her knowledge, she is working towards a Business Communication certificate at Ryerson University. 

Ambar Bin-Soekardji
Ambarwina Bin-Soekardji, BSW

Project Coordinator

Ambar has a diverse background in social work, administrative support, and community advocacy. As an alumna of Ryerson University, she has been part of the Ryerson community for 7+ years. She strives to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere for the university's students, staff, and stakeholders.  

Dr. Rim Abid, PhD, MEd, MSc

Online Learning Specialist

Rim holds a Masters degree from Arizona State University in Education Design and Technology. She has a background in STEM education and mathematics, and has contributed several journal publications to the field. Rim has international experience as an educator, learning specialist and researcher.
