Board members have a unique opportunity to give back to Ryerson in a meaningful way.
The RUAA Board of Directors is a working volunteer board, comprised of dedicated alumni with expertise in a variety of areas. Board members have a unique opportunity to give back to Ryerson in a meaningful way, while developing their professional skills and networks.
The board meets approximately eight times a year to review individual and group achievements and to discuss and act on alumni-related initiatives. Board members also lead and participate on committees and attend university events throughout the year on behalf of the RUAA, and as proud ambassadors for the university.
Six positions are open on the board for the upcoming year: Director — five positions available, and one position as Secretary. The Director terms are three years in length and the Secretary term is two years in length. These positions commence at the Annual General Meeting in November 2018.
