This event is SOLD OUT!
Hosted by Ryerson University Alumni Relations, as part of the Blackboard to Boardroom event series.
Shannon Lee Simmons
has been offering valuable financial advice and education to Ryerson alumni for the past two years; selling out every event and making intimidating financial topics fun, easy and entertaining.
Due to significant demand, we are welcoming Shannon back, April 26th, for a second “Investing 101” seminar where she will shed light and provide tips on how alumni can enter the investment market.
As Shannon says:
“This is Investing 101 y’all! Learn what all the jargon means, how to avoid being ripped off and what investment platform makes sense for you! Eventually, we all need to leave the safety our high interest savings accounts and deep dive into the stock market. Let me make this less terrifying for you. I got you!”
What alumni had to say about Shannon last year:
“Shannon was a fabulous speaker. She made the event fun and educational.”
“I found this seminar to be very useful. Shannon was filled with knowledge and she kept it funny at the same time.”
“Shannon was the highlight of the event for me. She was very outgoing, informative and helpful to individuals who just graduated from university.”
As an added bonus!
All attendees of this session will receive a copy of Shannon’s new book, “Worry Free Money
”, as part of their registration fee.
