We are bringing the biggest alumni event of the year to your home September 27 – October 2, 2021.

Over the course of the week, enjoy talks with award-winning journalists and authors, faculty-based demonstrations and panels, virtual tours, alumni award ceremonies and a virtual day camp the whole family can enjoy.

All Ryerson alumni and friends are invited to participate in Alumni Week events. Some events are designed by faculties for alumni of their programs, but they remain open for anyone interested in their event. If an event is by invitation only, it will be stated on their page.

Of course! We encourage you to share Alumni Week events with family and friends, which is easy to do with online events. If an event is stated as invitation-only, we recommend reaching out to the event organizer to inquire about their policies.

Yes! Alumni Week is completely free! 

All Alumni Week events are offered online. From September 27 – October 2, 2021, registered participants will receive a daily email with links to events that are open to all during that day. Participants can then choose which events they’d like to attend at their leisure.

Our goal is to create an accessible Alumni Week experience. We recommend reaching out to the event organizer as soon as possible so they can assure your event experience is enjoyable.

  • Registration opens in July. When it opens, simply fill out our registration form, which will automatically include you in all events offered by Alumni Relations and our partners across campus. Some events (i.e. Day Camps and Virtual Game Night) require a separate registration; you need to fill out an additional registration form for those.

All events that do not require a separate registration are included in Alumni Week central registration. Each morning of Alumni Week, registered participants will receive a daily digest email with Zoom links for events occurring during that day. 

Yes! Members of the public are welcome to attend Alumni Week events. They will be required to register themselves to ensure they receive the daily digest email.

If your plans change and you can no longer attend, simply email with a copy of your confirmation email and we will cancel your registration.

Events that require a separate registration will not be included in daily digest emails. You will be contacted by the organizer of that event directly with their event details.

If you would like to continue watching at a later date, we recommend contacting the event organizer to find out if the event is being recorded and where it’s being posted.
