Dr. Andrea Migone

Assistant Professor
DepartmentPolitics and Public Administration

Dr. Andrea Migone’s research interests lie in procurement, government innovation, public sector renewal, political economy, Indigenous governance and policy advisory systems. He has published widely both in Canada and abroad in these and other areas. He holds a PhD in political science from Simon Fraser University (2006) specializing in public administration and public policy.

Prior to joining the Department of Politics and Public Administration, Dr. Migone was the Director of Research and Outreach at the Institute of Public Administration of Canada. There he worked closely with both Canadian and international public servants from many jurisdictional and functional backgrounds. He was also a consultant with the federal Office of Indian Residential Schools Resolution Canada and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission where he fostered a long-standing commitment supporting the development of Indigenous communities.
