Molecular biology; cell biology; biochemistry; cancer; experimental design.

Research Interests:

The role of environmental changes on cell cycle checkpoint; stress-induced mechanisms that modify or interrupt checkpoints;  high-resolution, live-cell imaging DNA damage response and repair in fission yeast; the mechanisms of genome stability; how drug-treated cells escape therapy, their biomarkers and stability, and their potential to repopulate once drug treatment is stopped.
