There are two main types of jobs for students with the Ryerson Career Centre:

- Career Boost (formerly known as Work Study) positions AND 

- Career Fair positions, which are 'non-union casual' jobs. 

Both types of jobs require that you submit an online application, resume, and contact information (email) for one reference.

Career Boost Jobs

Career Fair Jobs

We are hiring a team of approximately 26 student staff for our Career Fair team, including both Career Fair Assistant and Loading Dock Assistant positions. Applications are available at: https://connectru.ryerson.ca/organization/careercentre/availableforms

On the application form, you will have to indicate which position(s) you are applying for, answer a few questions, upload your resume, and indicate your availability for the carousel interviews.

 

Online Application

All undergraduate positions must complete the following steps:

  1. Go to ConnectRU: https://connectru.ryerson.ca
  2. Login with your Ryerson Matrix ID.
  3. Click on this link to the application form. https://connectru.ryerson.ca/organization/careercentre/availableforms
  4. There are four main sections of the application form to fill out:
    1. Personal Information
    2. Answers to Application Questions
    3. Choose and Rank Positions
    4. Upload Resume
  5. Hit "Click to Submit" on the last page of the form in order to official submit all of the information for your application. If you miss this step, your application will not get sent in.
If you experience issues while filling out the application form, please contact the Career Centre via  career@ryerson.ca. Be sure to include your full name, student number, and preferred email address in the email.
