Career Centre Student Staff Hiring 2016 banner

There are two main types of jobs for students with the Ryerson Career Centre:

  • Career Boost positions and
  • our Career Fair positions, which are 'non-union casual' jobs.

Ryerson University is strongly committed to fostering diversity within our community. We welcome those who would contribute to the further diversification of our staff, our faculty, and its scholarship including, but not limited to, women, visible minorities, Aboriginal people, persons with disabilities, and persons of any sexual orientation or gender identity. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

All of our Career Fair team positions are open to International and Domestic students.

For all of our Career Boost (formerly known as Work Study) positions, applications from Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority due to this program's regulations.

Career Boost Jobs

In order to be eligible to work in the Summer 2017 term and/or the Fall/Winter 2017-2018 terms under the Career Boost (formerly known as Work Study) program you need to get an official ‘approval status’ from the Career Boost program. Without this official status you cannot work in these positions, so please do your research about the Career Boost approval process before you apply.

Click here for more information. (Note: The Career Boost program is open to domestic students only.)

Career Fair Jobs

Career Fair positions are open to all students (including international and domestic students) and operate on a casual basis, as we need our Career Fair assistants and loading dock assistant to work at our six career fairs throughout the academic year.
