Dena brings with her to Ryerson both human resources and career development experience within private and community settings. She has a Bachelor of Human Resources Management and is a Certified Human Resources Professional. As an HR professional, she has recruited many individuals for various roles in IT, supply chain, and administration. As a career development practitioner, she has offered one-on-one advising, facilitated workshops, and produced various events. Throughout her career, Dena has supported a variety of individuals including internationally trained professionals, mature students, and individuals in career transition. She is extremely passionate about helping people navigate their careers and empowering them to maximize their potential.

As the Career Education Specialist for the Chang School of Continuing Education, Dena designs, develops, and delivers a Faculty-wide Career Development Program, including career-related resource materials to support your professional development.

We recommended that you attend a workshop or tutorial before you book a 1:1 appointment with a career education specialist; most common career-related questions can be answered by attending one of these sessions. This allows us to focus on customization and specialization in your 1:1 appointment.
