Double-Sided (Duplex) Printing
To support Toronto Metropolitan University's Sustainability Initiatives and to respond to requests from students, CCS has introduced double-sided (duplex) printing as a default setting on all Self-Serve printers in the Academic Computing labs. Please note that colour printers in the Academic Computing labs are still set to single-sided printing. If you wish to switch the Self-Serve printers back to single-sided printing, the following tutorials will guide you through the necessary steps.
Note: Not all printers support duplex printing.
When printing documents that are using the duplex option, it should be noted that you will only be charged for the sides of the sheet containing printed content. Keep in mind that once you have changed the print settings in an application, they will remain the same until you switch them back or until you close the program.
