About Us

Entrepreneurship is critical to the economy. As engines of job creation, economic growth and innovation, the success of small and medium sized-enterprises affects the well-being of world markets. Engineer-led technology companies are becoming an increasingly important component of the new economic landscape, and a key vehicle for the transfer of new ideas into high-demand goods and services.

In the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (FEAS) at Ryerson University, we are dedicated to ensuring that our students are poised to be leaders in the fast-paced and multi-faceted world of technology startups. So we created the Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CEIE) to train our students not only to be engineers, but to be entrepreneurs as well.
