About
Our Mission
The Centre’s collaborative approach fosters a community dedicated to big thinking about curriculum, pedagogy and creative ways to develop inclusive teaching practices that enrich the student learning experience.
Promoting, guiding and celebrating educational excellence through:
We encourage pedagogical ingenuity by connecting, advising and collaborating with faculty, lecturers, teaching assistants and graduate students. The Centre takes a holistic approach to delivering creative and effective teaching – whether it’s to improve a course, explore new classroom technology or stay up to date on the latest learning research.
Enriching the quality of education at Ryerson starts with designing current and relevant programs. We help faculties and departments collaborate on curriculum development, review and renewal to ensure that the university remains at the forefront of academic inquiry.
We use our collaborative space as a testing ground and hub to partner with the community to develop new teaching methods that enrich learning experiences and improve accessibility. From live-actor simulations to blended and e-learning initiatives, the classroom of the future takes shape here.
