About Michael Wilson:

N. Michael Wilson April 23, 1948 – April 08, 2014

Michael Wilson was involved with the Home Building Industry in Southern Ontario for over 50 years. He worked very hard to make his dreams and the dreams of others a reality. He touched many lives along the way and all who knew Michael will agree that he was a man who exemplified integrity, leadership, community and kindness.

At a young age Michael’s career began as a summer student labourer at McClintock Homes in Agincourt, Scarborough. This is where he gained his first hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry and developed a passion for building and development.  With a mind for business, he quickly turned this opportunity into others. After graduating with a B.A. in Political Science, Michael rose through the ranks from project manager to senior management positions with various development companies throughout Ontario.  In 1992, he co-founded International Home Marketing Group, a fully integrated sales and marketing company.

Michael was a pioneer in establishing the way many pre-construction condominiums and freehold homes are marketed and sold today. Under his leadership, International Home Marketing Group grew to represent some of Canada’s largest residential developers, selling over 20,000 homes. It continues to operate successfully today, in his memory.

Michael supported and volunteered with many charitable organizations, both through his business and personal endeavours.
