To be eligible for this award, students must: Be registered as an Undergraduate, Full-time student at Ryerson University and have clear academic standing; Be enrolled in 3rd year of the Civil Engineering program; Demonstrate financial need, as determined by Ryerson University, through submission of a Student Budget Form. - Have the highest CGPA after successfully completing 2nd year of the Civil Engineering program.

American Concrete Institute - Ontario Chapter Scholarship 
Up to $500
For overall academic proficiency and demonstrated understanding of the properties of concrete through design projects and technical reports within the construction materials and structural design courses in third year.

Association of Ontario Land Surveyors Educational Foundation Awards
Up to $1250 x 4
Presented to a student entering the third-year Civil Engineering stream of program who has demonstrated overall academic proficiency, including CVL323, and an interest in pursuing a career in Geomatics Engineering.

Concrete Forming Association Of Ontario Award 

Up to $440
For the female student with the highest academic standing in the second-year environmentally related courses, including hydrology, fluid mechanics, hydraulic engineering and environmental science for engineers.

EllisDon Corporation Award
Up to $1000
Open to students who have successfully completed second year of the Civil Engineering program and are currently enrolled in third year of study with a full course load, must have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 at the time of the award selection, must have completed infrastructure and transportation courses, and must demonstrate leadership abilities. 

Fernando De Luca Memorial Award
Up to $1,500

To recognize a graduate of the Civil Engineering program who has a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and  demonstrated high academic achievement in CVL650 Satellite Geodesy. The student should show an interest in pursuing a career in Geomatics Engineering.

Gerald W. Jackson Scholarship
Up to $1000
To be eligible for this award a student must be registered as a full-time undergraduate second year student in Civil Engineering, must have a clear academic standing, must have a minimum CGPA of 3.33, and must demonstrate design excellence in the cornerstone first year design project based on the grade.

Greater Toronto Sewer and Watermain Contractors Association Awards
Up to $2300
Open to students who will be entering their third year of full-time undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering program; have a record of academic excellence, as demonstrated by a minimum CGPA of 3.00 at the end of second year; and demonstrate financial need.

Heavy Construction Association of Toronto Awards 
Up to $1500 
The award is open to two students who have demonstrated academic achievement in second year and third year of the undergraduate Civil Engineering program. Must have demonstrated academic excellence in courses related to strength of materials, structural and materials engineering, and an interest in the field of heavy construction. Must attain a minimum 3.00 CGPA, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, be an Ontario resident, and must demonstrate financial need.

 

Jack Roy Longstaffe Memorial Scholarship

For high academic standing in the second year of the Civil Engineering program and demonstrated financial need.

 

James H. Rattray Memorial Award 
Up to $200
For high academic achievement - first year.

 

James Ross Memorial Scholarship (Sponsored by the Metropolitan Toronto Road Builders' Association)
Up to $1000 x 3
For outstanding academic achievement with a strong understanding of the practical applications of the program and participation in extracurricular activities over the first three years of the Civil Engineering program.

For academic achievement - second year.

 

John Duncan Barnes Geodetic Sciences Scholarship
Up to $440

To recognize the academic achievement of a full-time third-year undergraduate student entering fourth year of the Civil Engineering program with a clear academic standing; a minimum CGPA of 3.00; demonstrated academic excellence in third year geomatics courses and an interest in pursuing a career in Geomatics Engineering; must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a Protected person.

 

J. Vinklers Scholarship
Up to $300

For a third-year undergraduate student entering fourth year of the Civil Engineering program who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in the Civil Engineering program and an interest in pursuing a career in Geomatics Engineering.

 

Lawrence Tomkins OLS 867 Award
Up to $1500
To be eligible for this $1500 award, students must be registered as an undergraduate, full-time student at Ryerson University and have clear academic standing, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 at the time of application; be registered in the Civil Engineering degree program; have successfully completed CVL 354 Remote Sensing and Image Analysis with a minimum GPA of 3.0

 

Lawrence Tomkins OLS 867 Scholarship
Up to $1000
To be eligible for this $1000 scholarship, students must be registered as an undergraduate, full-time student at Ryerson University and have clear academic standing; be registered in the Civil Engineering degree program; and have the highest GPA in CVL 323 - Fundamentals of Surveying

Ledcor Construction Limited Award 
Up to $2000

To recognize the combination of extra-curricular contributions in the field of study related to Architecture/Building/Construction and the academic achievements of a student enrolled full-time at the time of award selection in the third or fourth year program of study in Civil Engineering or Architectural Science.

 

Nick Barbieri Memorial Award (Sponsored by Concrete Forming Association of Ontario) 
Up to $440
For demonstrated interest, experience or background in the concrete construction industry and a clear academic standing with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.

 

Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Award
Up to $1250
Open to second, third or fourth-year students who are enrolled in a full-time engineering program; demonstrate high academic achievement (minimum CGPA of 3.00); demonstrate leadership through involvement in professional affairs and/or extracurricular activities related to the engineering profession, including the holding of an executive senior position in the Engineering Society, Engineers without Borders Chapter, Women in Engineering or participation in an engineering competition. One recipient from the Department of Civil Engineering will be chosen by the Departmental Awards Committee based on the above criteria.

 

Paul Krejcir Memorial Award
Up to $1000
For a student who is entering third or fourth year of the Civil Engineering program, has demonstrated academic achievement in geotechnical engineering, demonstrated leadership qualities and well-rounded academic life.

 

Stantec Consulting Ltd. Award
Up to $1650
Will be awarded to a fourth-year full-time undergraduate student in the Civil Engineering program, who demonstrates academic excellence and interest in pursuing a career in the area of environmental, structural or transportation engineering and has demonstrated financial need.

 

Toromont Industries Ltd. Award 
Up to $1000
For a fourth-year student in Civil Engineering who demonstrates academic excellence with a minimum CGPA of 3.30 and is completing a Capstone Design Project in the area of either environmental, structural or transportation engineering.
