Security and Emergency Services has moved to VIC
Due to renovations at 111 Bond Street, Security and Emergency Services has moved to the first floor of the Victoria Building (VIC). The work is expected to take several years to complete. Updates will be provided when available.
Your safety is our priority
The Security and Emergency Services team’s highest priority is the safety of all community members. Our team is available to support you anywhere on campus, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How to reach us at VIC
During office hours (6 a.m. to 11 p.m.)
Security and Emergency Services can be reached in person on the first floor of VIC during office hours from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
If the office is unstaffed
From time to time, you may find the office unstaffed because the team has been called away for a round of patrols or to attend to an emergency. In that case, use the intercom next to the office door and you will be connected immediately to a member of the team. They will be dispatched to meet you as soon as possible.
After hours (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
When the building is closed, use the intercom located outside of the building on the west entrance doors. You will be connected to a member of our team and they will be dispatched to meet you as soon as possible.
How to reach us elsewhere on campus
Via emergency blue poles or call stations (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
There are 15 emergency phones located across the campus, where you can connect directly to a member of the team. To locate an emergency blue pole or call station, visit the Ryerson campus map and select “emergency phones” from the legend.
