Architecture Global Learning

At the Department of Architectural Science, we provide graduate students with opportunities to study internationally through field trips, attendance at international conferences and contact with researchers all around the world. Our department also attracts students from all over, so you will work alongside others with a wide range of backgrounds and viewpoints. And the city of Toronto itself provides opportunities to work with many different communities, cultures and ethnic backgrounds.

Field Trips & Excursions

To reimagine cities, you need to experience them. That’s why our professors lead field trips to Toronto communities, exhibitions and architectural sites of interest and innovation, plus excursions to other urban centres in Canada, the U.S., and further afield.

Conferences & Research

Learning from other graduate students, scholars and cultures is crucial. At the Department of Architectural Science, you will have opportunities to attend and present at conferences in North America and around the world. You will also be able to pursue international research that challenges you with different climate, culture and societal contexts.
