Program for Fall 2021
The CERC in Migration and Integration supports graduate students and emerging research scholars with research training opportunities. The Migration Research Gyms provide specialized methodology and professional development training through intensive workshops. The small class setting emphasizes mentorship and hands-on learning.
The upcoming program includes the following sessions:
- Focus groups: Purposes & processes, Oct. 8, 2021
- Preparing survey data for analysis using SPSS (Part 1), Oct. 15, 2021
- Data analytics for the Social Sciences using SPSS (Part 2), Oct. 21, 2021
- How to write an effective policy brief, Oct. 29, 2021
All workshops are being offered free of charge. Our workshops are often oversubscribed and we maintain a waiting list. We ask that you please cancel your registration if you are no longer able to attend. We appreciate your understanding.
