Winter 2022 Return to In-Person Learning
As we approach the end of the Fall term, our focus starts to shift to Winter 2022, especially since we have been through unprecedented times with COVID-19.
We are glad to announce, and let you all know, that the Department of Electrical, Computer, & Biomedical Engineering is coming back IN-PERSON starting January 10, 2022; that means lectures, labs, tests, etc.
We look forward to welcoming you all back to campus. All on-campus attendance is of course contingent upon compliance with health and safety and vaccination requirements, as per the recent communication from the University and the Dean of FEAS. The university announced that the Winter 2022 term will be largely offered on campus with increased in-person classes, programming, services and support beginning in January 2022.
Our Department and FEAS continue to place the highest importance on health and safety. In the interest of everyone’s well-being, the university will continue its holistic approach to safety in Winter 2022 by maintaining our vaccination policy, including mandatory daily health screening for those coming to campus, continued masking requirements, enhanced cleaning protocols and ventilation and air purification best practices.
VERY IMPORTANT: As per the University Vaccination Policy:
- You MUST be vaccinated to access campus, and most importantly, students who have not provided their vaccination status in the RyersonSafe app by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 21 WILL NOT receive their Winter timetables and be restricted from adding courses.
- By Wednesday, December 15, all undergraduate, graduate, and law students who remain non-compliant (either through not attesting to their status, or remaining not fully vaccinated), WILL BE REMOVED from any in-person Winter courses, and may lose access to key Ryerson systems, such as MyServiceHub. In addition, individuals who have approved exemptions are still required to participate in the Rapid Antigen Testing Program.
