This panel will be an opportunity for students to learn about the journey of women in engineering in academia. It will focus on the research done by the women of the engineering community at Ryerson and will highlight their accomplishments, as well as bringing light to the barriers they face.

This event is being hosted by Ryerson Women in Engineering (WiE) (external link) , a student group designed to provide resources for students that identify as women. Ryerson WiE strives to do this through initiatives such as mentorship, networking, social events and much more.
