A one hour workshop that explores the questions "what if anger was not severed from female identities?" and "what if women felt safe to own their rage, as a form of empowerment?"

The workshop will begin with a reading of an excerpt from "Rage Becomes Her, the Power of Women's Anger" by Soraya Chemaly.

Dr. Yumiko Kawano, Social Justice Academic and Champion Muay Thai Fighter, will then discuss how rage can be used as a tool for success in the ring and in life.

To end the workshop, Dr. Kawano will lead participants through practical and inclusive methods to harness rage as a tool for self-defence and empowerment when facing injustice and indignity.
