This semester, the Faculty of Science launched the new Ryerson Augmented Learning Experience (RALE), which uses AR to bring more engaging labs to students’ homes. In this screenshot of the platform, a hologram microscope sits on the coffee table of a user’s home, which students can interact with to complete experiments.

When the pandemic took hold in March of this year, like all other universities in Canada, Ryerson transitioned to a remote model. During the past several months, faculty and staff have worked hard to ensure that access and excellence in teaching and learning have prevailed.

From creative testing, such as Cineplex-style quizzes, to offering immersive laboratory experiences, see below for several ways Ryerson has continued to engage, educate and inspire during these challenging times.
