Frequently Asked Questions

Send a message to sufernan@torontomu.ca with a list of 3 course codes from the Liberal table that you are interested in. Include your TMU ID in the subject line. Sunny will try to help you find a course.

First, do not panic, final grades and standings are not final until we get back after the university reopens. Make an appointment to see your Academic Coordinator (Sunny) by accessing her google calendar or by sending her an email message requesting a zoom or in-person meeting. Please include your TMU ID number in your message.

When you access your account you can see that courses have been dropped, but when you look at your timetable or enrolment the courses are there. This is because the system drops your intentions and adds the courses that fit into your timetable. Not all courses make it so it is very important you look at your timetable and D2L to ensure you have the courses you need.

If you do not have any courses in the enrollment window, you may have a hold on your account and the courses were dropped. Please contact the ServiceHub and talk to a financial advisor regarding fees.

Any course that you are interested in that is NOT on the Lower Level (LL) Table A counts towards the Open Elective table. You have to make sure that the course does not have a prerequisite and fits your timetable. Open Electives can be courses from a Minor table if you are completing a Minor (except for LL Table A courses that may also appear in a Minor).

If you are looking for information for Acting or Dance auditions, please go to the Admissions web page and look at the non-academic requirements.

If you need to change your audition date, please send a message to audition@torontomu.ca and include your TMU ID number, the original audition date and the date you want to move to. If you have not yet signed up for an audition, email us and we will send you the information.

Acting applicants will upload their audition on the TMU Portal, only those with a call back will be contacted.
