Social Psychology explores how humans interact with and are influenced by others in a variety of social environments.

With both a strong theoretical foundation and a shared interest in applied areas of research, faculty members and graduate students at Ryerson examine the thoughts, perceptions, and behaviours of individuals in relation to others from a diverse range of perspectives including media psychology, sociopolitical psychology, psychology of social cognition, psychology and the law, and youth and crime.

Monthly Social Area Meetings provide opportunities for students and faculty to come together to discuss the latest empirical research or to learn about ongoing research in other labs.
