Hospitality and Tourism Management ranked #2 in Canada for research

July 02, 2020

Congratulations to Ryerson University and its School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) for ranking as the number two research school in Canada in the hospitality and tourism category!

The university was recognized by ShanghaiRankings as one of the top schools in terms of research - globally ranking in the Top 100 group, which was a jump from placing in the Top 200 group only a year ago.

"It is a great achievement for the school of HTM to be ranked for only the second time in this list of prestigious research universities and to make such a jump in the rankings,” said Frederic Dimanche, Director of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. “This is a testimony to the changing research culture and to the higher research goals that colleagues set for themselves."
