A Ted Rogers MBA will now be more accessible to the Ted Rogers School of Management community as the program announced that undergraduate alumni are eligible to apply without submitting a GMAT score, given they meet all other admission requirements

"In the Ted Rogers MBA program, we highly value Ted Rogers School alumni who have built on their strong academic experience by gaining progressive work experience and strong community involvement,” says Dr. Donna Smith, Director, MBA Programs. “The rigour of our undergraduate program is impressive, and we are pleased to extend the GMAT exemption to our graduates who meet all other entrance requirements. We are so proud of Ted Rogers School alumni accomplishments and we welcome their applications."

This move is part of the Ted Rogers MBA program’s strategy to expand accessibility to the Ted Rogers School community.  In recent years, the program announced that Top 200 alumni and Co-op graduates from the Ted Rogers School would be eligible for a GMAT exemption.

One of the students who benefited from this exemption is current MBA student Shiri Gawrielman, who is a Top 200 graduate. “In addition to Ted Rogers School's collaborative culture and forward-thinking approach to education, the GMAT waiver definitely encouraged me to apply to the Ted Rogers MBA program,” she says.

“The waiver allowed me to focus on other elements of the application, where I was able to thoroughly express my passion and desire for continuous learning,” Gawrielman explains. “Top 200 students are equipped to further grow, thrive and progress professionally, and the GMAT waiver provided me with a great incentive to do just that within the Ted Rogers MBA program.”

Since launching, the Ted Rogers MBA has rapidly gained domestic and international recognition as a leading MBA program. It was recently ranked the #3 MBA in Canada by Bloomberg Businessweek and #2 in Canada for entrepreneurship and learning. The program was also listed as #3 in Canada and eleventh globally in Corporate Knights 2021 Better World Ranking.

The application portal for the Ted Rogers MBA is open for the 2022 academic year.  For more information about the program and application requirements, contact Nikoletta Papadopoulos, Manager, Graduate Student Recruitment npapad@torontomu.ca.
