With Proctortrack, there is an on-boarding process. The on-boarding process provides students the opportunity to make sure the system works before the actual exam. During this process, the Proctortrack software will be installed and the profile will be created. Should there be any issues with the software or the profile, it would be taken care of before the time of the examination.
The on-boarding process mimics the actual examination process. The onboarding data is valid for one year after it successfully passed.
Important thing to note, after the on-boarding process is completed, it will take between 4 to 8 hours for Proctortrack to confirm whether it’s a successful on-boarding. Therefore on-boarding should be done far in advance of the exam and not on the same day of the exam to allow time for the completion and repeating it in case there are any issues.
It takes 4-8 hours for Proctortrack to confirm successful on-boarding.
We recommend completing the on-boarding at least 1 week before your first exam, to ensure you pass before the day of the exam.
If you fail the on-boarding, you will need to re-take it. You will only be permitted access to real exams once you pass.
It is recommended to do the onboarding as soon as the instructor makes it available. The onboarding process is very similar to the actual exam.
