Classes and Research Labs
For Fall 2020, the majority of classes will be led virtually. The University continues to explore and plan for a potential mix of online and in-person classes, as provincial and public health guidelines permit.
Final decisions on the potential for in-person classes, including class sizes, have not yet been communicated by the provincial government. This site will continue to be updated as information becomes available.

Facilities Management and Development and the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation (OVPRI) are currently working on protocols to ensure that any research facilities approved to reopen are done so in a safe manner.
In many cases, labs require pre-start inspections to ensure electrical and mechanical systems are up and running, and that facilities are cleaned prior to reentry.
Researchers will be required to ensure that proper plans to follow current public health guidelines are formulated and put into place before they will be approved to return to their research spaces.
