Ryerson University's Creative Technology Lab at the Faculty of Communication & Design (FCAD) is a technology-based workshop that supports creative research, curriculum, and entrepreneurship activities across all nine FCAD Schools and Ryerson Zones. Creative Technology Lab looks to disrupt and revolutionize the use of technology within the creative fields by leveraging digital fabrication, 3D printing, textile computing, AR/VR, and robotics.


/ Our Facility

Creative Technology Lab is a 8,300 square foot facility located on level B in Ryerson's new Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex and the first floor of Ryerson's School of Interior Design.

Through workshops, seminars, and collaborative projects, Creative Technology Lab provides opportunities students, professionals, and the broader community to grow their technological skills. Creative Technology lab also provides support in connecting the industry with Ryerson, and develops short programs around industry-specific digital techniques and workflows.
