Admissions & Applying

Admission requirements vary for full-time, part-time and co-op programs. International applicants may also need to meet additional requirements, such as proof of proficiency in the English language. 

Full-Time Admission Requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (O.S.S.D.) with six Grade 12 U/M courses. Must include Grade 12 University courses in:

  • Advanced Functions (MHF4U)
  • English. ENG4U/EAE4U is preferred. 
  • One of: Physics (SPH4U), Chemistry (SCH4U) or Biology (SBI4U). Physics is recommended.
  • Either: Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) or Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U). Calculus and Vectors is preferred.

Grades Required: A 82-90% range is typically required for subject prerequisites. Although minimums are determined from year to year, averages/grades above the minimum may be required during years of high competition.

Non-Academic Requirements: None

Part-Time Admission Requirements

International, Mature, Transfer and Other Students
