Grid-connected utility-scale battery facility
The Centre for Urban Energy has an outdoor facility connected to the 13.8 kilovolt (kV) Toronto Hydro grid and can test units in megawatt (MW) scale. The facility is monitored and controlled by a utility-grade supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system via a fibre-optic link.
