R1 Coffee Table

The design of the table celebrates the machine processes responsible for its production. The form honours the production methods as well as the materials themselves, while acknowledging and overcoming some of their limits, with the incorporation of hand crafting. The resulting furniture piece is regarded as a prototype, with the potential to further optimize the production process, allowing for the eventual mass production of the R1 Coffee Table.
